Radeon Announces Upcoming Support for ProRender in Blender

Radeon have recently put out a trailer for their ProRender software which is a plugin rendering engine that is available for most major 3D packages, the latest trailer shows upcoming support for Blender in 2017.

ProRender is advertised as a physically based renderer that utilizes both CPU and GPU to improve rendering performance and rendering results. Excitingly this renderer is being released for free so we will all soon be able to test it out.

ProRender should be able to work on any system that supports OpenCl 1.2, and Radeon boasts it’s capability to be used even on lower end systems to produce professional results.
